Managed to get a shot of a singing wren this morning. Not the best, as he was above me against the light, but not too bad for my first wren pic.

An Update
In the gallery above are three bird pictures I took in the last month. I’ve included them here to make the post more interesting!
This is a post to explain that at the moment I am mainly updating things behind the scenes of the website, such as layouts, navigation, privacy policy etc. So I might be posting less often for the next week or so

Barn Owl!
I was lucky enough to see a barn owl hunting the other morning, at 6.30. Unfortunately by the time I got the camera trained on it, this was the best shot I could get. I did some nice views of its hunting technique though, and hopefully next time I will be better prepared!

The Start!
This is my first post. This is my first time using WordPress, and so far I have only organised web hosting with 20i, installed WordPress, and started on my first post!
I intend this site to be mainly a blog, with posts two or three times a week. My main interests are photography, reading, nature, and walking with my dog Bramble – so I expect it will be about those!
